Stock Update Cost
This is used to update the Standard Cost and Real Cost, either by key in a new cost or use Auto Update Item Cost. Compare to directly change the standard cost at Stock Item Maintenance, this Stock Update Cost can update the standard cost for several items at one go, and can be saved as history record.
Step: Go to Stock > Stock Update Cost

Click on Create a Stock Update Cost.

*Click + sign to select the item code & UOM
*Key in Old cost and New cost for the selection item
*Tick Update to Real Cost: To update the real cost with this new cost. (May check at the stock item maintenance)
*Auto Update Item Cost: Fill in automatically with calculated Up-to-date cost.

*Press Save and Preview button.

Report will be listed below:

Note:
User may check standard cost in item maintenance after key in stock update entry.
Step: Stock > Stock Item Maintenance

Click 'View' button.

Result: Standard cost for this item were updated.
